Come to our Community Dinner

Memorial is starting a new outreach called "Community Dinner".  These will be monthly dinners (or food events) and are open to church members and the public.  Our first Community Dinner will be on November 16, 2019, from 5:00 to 7:00.

We are very excited about this new program and invite everyone to come and eat with us.  These monthly meals are by donation only, with proceeds going to our Mission programs.  However, if you can not afford to make a donation, please come eat with us anyway.

Come and bring a friend or neighbor!

A New Addition to our Fellowship Hall

We have some very talented quilters in our church family.  This beautiful cross quilt is now hanging in our Fellowship Hall.

Craft Nights are back!

Our next craft night of 2019 has been scheduled for November 22 at 6:00 pm.  Our craft nights are typically the fourth Friday of each month.

If you are a scrapbooker, paper crafter/artist, card maker, or.... if you crochet, sew, do needlepoint.... or any portable craft......

you now have an evening each month to gather with other crafty people and get caught up on your crafting.

We will have refreshments, fellowship and hopefully a fun time with your crafts.

For more information, please call our church office, 828-369-5834, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Memorial has an anonymous call-in prayer line.

At Memorial United Methodist we strongly believe in the power of prayer.  We would consider it a privilege to pray about your concern(s).
Our call in prayer line number is 828-369-0707.  When you call our prayer line, you will get a recorded message.  After the message you will hear a tone, after which you can leave a message with your prayer concern.  It is not necessary to leave your name and number unless you desire to have a call back.  We have a number of church members who would consider it a privilege and blessing to be able to pray for you and/or your concerns.
Remember, if you have a true emergency, please call 911.
If you simply want your request added to our prayer list, briefly describe your need after the tone.
Remember, you are never alone.
May God comfort you with His peace.
